Good know because Siri needs a lot of work. Google Now arguably serves a different purpose but regardless, Google owns the servers that run this service, whereas Apple doesn’t for Siri. This will always handicap Apple until they bring every aspect of the digital assistant in-house, which this article indicates it seems to be doing.
